Whidbey with the Contes

The Conte clan headed up to the Whidbey cabin this weekend to spend some quality time together and to celebrate Auntie Jess (1 week early) and Auntie Becca's (6 months late) bdays. We walked around Langley and had lunch on Saturday morning and then ventured down to the beach that afternoon. Our little celebration was Saturday evening and was topped off with a delicious chocolate vegan cake that my mom made (in honor of Jessica, who is a vegan). Sunday morning we just relaxed and Brandon learned to feed the deer apples, from the garden, over the fence.
Brandon loves being around family. His favorite things right now are animals. He loves the zoo and he has quite a collection of small plastic animals that he likes to have with him at all times. The deer are definitely a highlight for him. He has said "deer cabin" at least 20 times since we left yesterday. We all had so much fun and hope it's not too long before we can do all be together at the cabin again!
